My Story.

Allow me to introduce myself — I am Sensei Silvio La Valle, the Founder and Senior Instructor of Shinpo Martial Arts. My Martial Arts journey began at the tender age of 7, under the guidance of Nippon UK. Since then, I have had the privilege of training with esteemed organisations such as Kudo Academies, achieving my Brown Belt under their skilled tutelage.

Although Kudo Academies took a path that led them to Spain which meant my local club closed down, my heart told me to continue my training. After searching I found Nippon UK which is where I continued my training and flourished as a martial artist. With unwavering dedication and hard work, I was recognised for my progress and presented with the opportunity to undertake my Black Belt exam. The passion for teaching awakened within me, and I embarked on my instructing journey, swiftly earning my Black Belt and sharing my knowledge with others. My journey has continued, and I am currently proud to hold the rank of 3rd Dan.

Driven by the vision of spreading the essence of Martial Arts far and wide, I established a franchise, offering classes across Preston, Fylde Coast, Blackburn and Chorley. The growing interest and enthusiasm from students fuelled my inspiration to take a monumental step forward. In 2016, I proudly established my very own dojo, still under the Nippon UK name, which quickly became a bustling hub of eager learners.

Throughout my journey of running the Nippon UK franchise, I learned some valuable lessons. However, I yearned to create a dojo that reflected the values I cherish as a martial artist. This yearning led to the birth of Shinpo Martial Arts in 2023 — an academy that embodies the ethos I hold dear.

My passion for this ancient discipline has remained unwavering, and it fuels my drive to be the best instructor I can be. Along my Martial Arts expedition, I have had the incredible privilege of training with some of the finest martial artists and fighters in the country, gaining invaluable insights that I am now eager to share with you.

Over the years, I have had the joy of teaching and grading thousands of students, each one adding their unique thread to the vibrant tapestry of our martial arts community. I can't wait to see what the future holds!
